Metheney Consulting Shoots Clients and Friends

Charlotte, NC – Jun 15, 2007:
Metheney Consulting, Inc. , one of Charlotte’s top web design firms, invited clients, friends and colleagues to a day of high adrenaline and sneak attacks. The internet consulting firm hosted the First Annual Metheney Consulting Paintball Tournament. The guests included business owners, sales professionals, attorneys, financial advisors, and of course, web developers and search engine professionals.

The Charlotte web firm transported their team of warriors and wannabes to Greenville's Red Fox Games (www.redfoxgames.com)  to utilize their 162 acre paintball arena. Scenarios included an Old West shoot-out (Silverado City), the massacre known as Hamburger Hill; The Junkyard, which includes buses, tankers and military half-tracks; and completing anti-terrorists raids. The event is just one of several the firm hosts every year. Other events include The Metheney Consulting “Regatta” (their Annual Office party on Lake Wylie), meetings in Las Vegas, and their annual Holiday Party. “Life is more than just working hard,” preaches president Paul Metheney. “You’re supposed to work to Live , not live to Work. During the week, we are all-business with our clients, delivering the best services we can, but every once in a while, we show them the rewards of that hard work and that life is more than just web sites and marketing. Sometimes, it’s simply about enjoying yourself.”

“Everyone had a great time, but I can tell you that sitting in front of a computer 12 hours a day does not really prepare you for 7 hours of crawling and running through the woods. I’m happy that I kept up with players one half and a third of my age, but the next day, just standing up and walking was ‘optional’ ”.
